Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys will be featured on “The Voice”

Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys are going to lead the show as judges on season 11 of the popular reality TV series, The Voice. They will replace the much loved Pharrell Williams.

Blake Shelton and Adam Levine have reportedly asked to up their current deals for the next season. The duo are said to earn about $13 million for each season of The Voice. They have been on the show for 10 seasons and Christina Aguilera has had 6 seasons. CeeLo and Pharrell were on the show as judges for 4 seasons each.

The rumour mill is alive with word that the producers just wanted to replace these judges with A-list stars that may cost them less. Although one source confirms that Miley was brought in on a mega deal.

Blake Shelton has been the longest running judge on this show that is a hit and is also top-rated. His presence was an important booster of a large audience that loves country-music.

Miley Cyrus featured on the show for season 10 as an advisor to the judges and Grammy winning Alicia Keys played the advisor role in season 7.

Next spring, it is reported that Gwen Stefani will return as a judge, but the other judges are not yet known. All the judges who’ve been seated in that oversized judge’s chair have the potential to return.

The Voice is a top-rated show for NBC. It has an average rating of 3.8. The Voice is the fourth most popular TV show after Empire, The Big Bang Theory, and X-Files.
